The in-home design consultation is the first step in working with J. Winne Studios. This private, working session is designed to assess your space, clarify objectives, and determine the appropriate scope of professional design services required to achieve a thoughtful and cohesive result.
This consultation establishes direction and alignment before design decisions are made, ensuring the work that follows is intentional, elevated, and well-planned.
During our 90-minute in-home meeting, we will:
Review the spaces under consideration and discuss how the home is lived in and used
Explore aesthetic preferences, references, and long-term goals
Identify opportunities related to layout, furnishings, finishes, and architectural detail
Discuss investment parameters and timeline considerations
Determine the most appropriate design phase moving forward
This consultation provides strategic clarity and professional insight; it does not include detailed sourcing, furniture specifications, paint schedules, or drawings.
This offering is best suited for clients who value a curated, comprehensive approach and are considering an ongoing design partnership.
Clients who are early in the process, open to direction, and prepared to make informed design decisions tend to benefit most from this engagement.
Projects focused solely on last-minute adjustments, styling around previously purchased items, or piecemeal guidance may not be ideally supported through this structure.
Following the consultation, you will receive a clear recommendation outlining the scope of design services best suited to your project. When appropriate, the consultation fee is applied toward a design agreement (excluding hourly services).
